Picturefolk uses limited account, device, activity, and technical information to operate the service, sync your choices, create recommendations, understand how the product is used, and diagnose problems.
- When you register or sign in, Picturefolk uses your email address and stores sign-in information in this browser so you can remain signed in.
- When you use Picturefolk as a guest, movies and people you save, follow, like, watch, pass on, or set aside may be stored locally in this browser.
- When you are signed in, supported choices may be saved to your account so they can sync across devices.
- Picturefolk may collect a random browser identifier, session identifier, screens viewed, movie and person pages opened, recommendation interactions, saves, follows, sign-in and sync outcomes, and technical errors.
- Picturefolk records that a search happened, along with search length and result counts. Picturefolk does not permanently store the text of your searches in product analytics.
- This information is used to improve recommendations, understand whether features work without assistance, and identify broken or confusing parts of the service.
- Picturefolk does not sell personal information, display advertising, or accept payments.
- Movie information, images, and search results may be requested from TMDB when you search, browse, or open a movie or person page.
Picturefolk uses Supabase for authentication, account syncing, database storage, and product analytics storage. Supabase may receive technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, session identifiers, and interaction events according to its own privacy practices.
Signing out removes the sign-in from this browser, but does not delete information saved to your account. To request account deletion, ask a privacy question, or contact support, email contact@picturefolk.com.
